Squid studied Photography and Art History at Pratt Institute. His natural love for bright colors was electrified working with Blue Man Group in New York in the 1990’s.His education into dance and art video was jumpstarted by Dennis Diamond at Video D Studios where he participated in video recording, editing, and installation design for amazing artists like Bill Irwin, Elizabeth Streb, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Richard Serra, and Bruce Nauman. Squid has applied the energy of these experiences to his own photographic and video explorations.
