Arches & Planes

Once the color catching qualities of white paper became obvious, I began experimenting with of shapes and textures of paper. Paper airplanes allowed me to push the angular shapes while maintaining some whimsy with the subject. Arches refers to the classic art paper brand and became an experiment in softer transitions between colors as well as less linear, more textured edges.
